This mushroom bowl was thrown on the pottery wheel, the design was carved out and the mushrooms were individually added by hand, then fired in the kiln at 2170°F.
The clay is an ivory colored ceramic stoneware with dark speckles. The glaze on the mushrooms is matte and pairs beautifully with the glossy glaze on the bowl.
