These spoon rests were thrown on the pottery wheel, the glaze pattern was carefully hand-painted on each piece, and then were fired in the kiln at 2170°F.
The clay is ceramic stoneware, and the glazes have melted and blended in the kiln, creating an ocean beach pattern.
