Naked Linear Carved Planter

This planter was thrown on the pottery wheel and finished by hand carving the linear design, then fired in the kiln at 2170°F.

The clay is a warm sandy colored ceramic stoneware with dark speckles. The white glossy glaze sits in the design, highlighting the carved pattern.
